My name is Lieve Maas. I am original from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, living in Portland OR since 2006.I am a graphic designer for Bright Light Graphics http://www.brightlightgraphics.com/, My specialty is designing books for the self-publishing author. Authors spend years learning their craft. They know how to write a book, but have no idea how to publish it. They want their books to be taken seriously but don’t know how to design enticing, marketable covers or professionally formatted interiors. They don’t know how to transform their manuscript into an actual printed book. These are the services I provide to self-publishers.
For five years I worked as a book designer SWP Book publishers in Amsterdam. Now I help self-publishing authors understand the publishing process and transform Word documents into tangible books.
I also work with them to design logos, business cards, and websites that support their work with a professional web presence and branding.
When I work with self-publishing authors I make their work shine.
